Terms & Conditions

Covid-19

All equipment provided by us will be sanitised daily.

If any learners are showing symptoms of corona virus, or have been in contact with someone displaying symptoms, we request that you self-isolate in line with the government guidelines (7-14 days).  As such, you may be unable to complete your course.  Special allowances will be made for learners in this position, whereby the training course can be rescheduled to a later date, providing you have informed the office and given us adequate notice.

If one of our instructors becomes unwell we may need to reschedule your course.  In this instance, the earliest possible date will be offered.

No refunds will be given for courses which are either cancelled, or rescheduled, but alternatives dates will be offered.

If your test is cancelled by the DVSA, they will offer you a new test date, but you may also be able to claim out of pocket expenses directly from them.

CBT Terms and Conditions

At any point throughout the training course the instructor may stop training and ask you to return another day. This could be for a variety of reasons. If this is the case the instructor will explain why he/she has chosen to do so and be available to give a full debrief and answer any questions. If you are requested to return, there will be a charge of £75 to cover the hire of the bike.

If you are required to return for more than one session you will be charged for each subsequent return at £75 for a maximum of 3 returns. This fee and amount of time will be at the instructor’s discretion You will be required to complete all elements of the training that remain incomplete while also demonstrating understanding of the previous elements.

If you are required to do a CBT Return session you will be offered the next available session. If you are only available at weekends this could result in a long delay during peak periods. CBT Return sessions must also be booked within 3 months of your initial CBT date.

We require 5 days notice if you wish to reschedule your CBT. Failure to give us the required notice period may result in you losing your payment.

Punctuality is highly important as the course will start at the allocated time of your booking should you arrive late, and the instructor has already started the training, you will be asked to return at the cost of £75.

Should you attend the course and decide to remove yourself the full course fee will be charged for a CBT session. Only in exceptional circumstances will the instructor allow the CBT Return price of £75 be allowed.

Direct Access Terms and Conditions

If you need to cancel or reschedule a Direct Access Course, we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Failure to provide us with this notice period may result in you losing your payment. If your tests are cancelled by the DVSA due to unforeseen circumstances, we will still require you to attend your training course. In this instance, we will do our best to find you a cancellation test at short notice.

If the weather conditions are adverse, and your motorcycle instructor deems it to be unsafe to ride – they may take the decision not to continue with your training until the weather conditions improve. This decision will only be taken if the instructor feels that the student’s safety may be compromised. The instructor’s decision is final and 100% backed by the training school. All terminated sessions will be made up at a cost to us and not you.

Training sessions last approximately 4 hours, including breaks (this may differ on test sessions dependent on number of candidates taken). Start / Finish times may vary, and if any training is missed it will usually be added on at some point during the course. If you have any questions regarding your schedule please ask your instructor as we will endeavour to help where we can.
